Trades estimators used to take 2–4 hours and 40% never made it to the client. JobCalc replaces that with a photo, a quick voice note, and a polished proposal sent before the tech leaves the driveway.
What I built
- Marketing site at jobcalc.app on Next.js, with a tight conversion funnel
- Native iOS app on the App Store for on-site quoting, with full offline mode
- GPT-4 Vision pipeline that analyses up to 5 site photos for job complexity
- Local market pricing data + business margin controls per company
- Good / Better / Best tiered proposal generator with branded PDF output
- SMS and email delivery, customer dashboard, team-wide pricing standards
Outcome
Live at jobcalc.app and on the App Store. Real contractors using it to send estimates from the truck.
